So, what is your favorite beverage while you are doing so.
I realize that this will probably change for most depending on the season.
For me, in the summer... a Kentucky Mule
Winter - a nice glass of bourbon
Spring - something light and clean, usually water
Fall - a cider

For me, in the summer it will usually be a nicer bourbon. Winter I'll grab a heavier bourbon. Spring, the nearest bottle of bourbon. Fall a higher proof bourbon.
In case you can not tell, I prefer bourbon.

I don't drink these days, however, when I used to I liked to drink whiskey as I smoked. During cold season, I liked to add water to my whiskey and in the summer, I added ice. Sometimes I added coke to improve the taste.

Honestly, I know a lot of people that tone down whiskeys by adding soft drinks. I personally prefer the taste of the natural stuff if it is a decent bourbon or rye.

I find that I prefer the better bourbons straight.
If it is hot outside then I might put an ice cube in it.
There are few mixed drinks I like.

It's only ice I would add to my whiskey if I must tone it down a little bit but other than that, I take it how it's made. Johnnie Walker is my favourite to drink now.

Personally, I've always enjoyed smoking outside. It's more like being in a space where I am free without having to worry about getting choked up if I am smoking inside the house.
