What drew you into pipe smoking?
For me, it was because I was a cigar lover, but the prices honestly got outrageous for a good stick, and talking with a few pipe smoking friends they commented that usually pipe tobacco was more reasonably priced, and not only that, you got a wider variety of avenues of flavor to explore.
So.... it was off on my exploration of the pipe that I went.

I am still a cigar lover.
But I do have to agree that the pipe is frequently the cheaper alternative for equal quality in the tobacco.

It might sound weird or should I say funny but what actually drew me into pipe smoking was after watching The Lord of the Rings Trilogy seeing how Gandalf and the hobbits enjoyed it.

Pipe smoking was a very big thing from a family because my grandparents smoked and also my parent as well. It's probably the reason why I grew up doing exactly the same thing.
