Favorite pipe scenes from movies or television

What are some of your favorite movie scenes involving a pipe?

One of my favorites of a more recent movie is this one from Inglorious Basterds is Hans Calabash.



Speaking of a Calabash... can't leave out Data!



Or how could we forget Granny with her cob?


Or Calvin Candie in Django


Then we have Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of New York


Or one of my favorite movies... The Quiet Man



And if you were into the spaghetti westerns, you can't forget Lee Van Cleef

I'll chime in with a few of my favorites (several of those you listed also are some of mine).
Many of them are older movies, when smoking a pipe (or cigar) was not so frowned upon.

Or how about something a little more recent like Oppenheimer.

Or the Hatfields & McCoys with Anse smoking the pipe named after him, the Devil Anse

Time to add a few more... I'm old enough I remember watching movies from the 30's, 40's and 50's with my Mom.
We always liked Sherlock Homes, and one of my favorite actors to portray him was Basil Rathbone.


Of the more modern Sherlock Holmes, it's a tossup between Benedict Cumberbatch and Robert Downey Jr.



Of the two, I think Benedict carries off the image of the pipe better.

Jeremy Brett wasn't a slouch either.
